Project Impossible: Part 1 - Accenture High Performance Business Suite

I have been called many names during my career. The one that stuck the most was 'captain inventive' from PwC director Pete Maxted, who now is the IT Director at Tui.

Client: Accenture
Project: Software Development
Product: High Performance Business Suite
Build time: 3 months

I decided to present a showcase of my previous work and the kind of projects I've been involved with to give you a flavour of what's possible. This week's installation is the Accenture High Performance Busines Suite.

At the highest level in Accenture, directors of potential clients would be brought in and wowed to see the capabilities of the technical services team. A 'starship enterprise bridge' style suite was built with screens all over the place ( see diagram ) and yours truly was invited to write the software.

The software I wrote allowed a sequence of images, video and audio to be collected and triggered from a touch tablet ( you had to use a stylus then ) and a drag and drop interface was created to create a sequence which coordinated 17 screens simultaneously. Even the blinds were automated, so this really impressed potential clients.

hopgood.eu showcase - software to control screens. In this case a presentation for the directors of Universal Music.

I'm enclosing an image below. If  you would like to do something that you previously thought impossible, i'm available on email: mark@hopgood.eu
